Death, not to be Proud

No man is himself equiparable to an Island,
all man is a piece of Continent,
a part of Mainland,
If the sea takes away a lump,
Europe would loose as a headland…
like it would take a family seat or your own.

Death of anyman decreases me,
because I am part of Humanity.
that’s why, you’ll better never want to know
for whom the bells tolls…
They’re calling for you!

1618, John Donne
